A Glimpse of Autumn, a fleeting sight,

As summer fades into the night,

Leaves of gold and red, begin to fall,

A beauty to behold, for one and all.

The air is crisp, and the sky so clear,

The rustling leaves, music to the ear,

A hint of winter, in the morning breeze,

The landscape painted, with colors that please.

The sun shines bright, on this autumn day,

But the warmth of summer, has gone away,

The world is changing, with each passing hour,

As nature prepares, for winter's power.

The trees stand tall, proud and true,

Their leaves a riot of autumnal hue,

They dance and sway, in the gentle breeze,

As the days grow shorter, and the nights freeze.

A glimpse of autumn, a time to reflect,

On the passing of time, and what we neglect,

To cherish each moment, before it's gone,

And embrace the beauty, before the winter dawn.

So take a deep breath, and enjoy the view,

Of autumn's splendor, so vibrant and new,

For soon it will end, and winter will appear,

But the memory of autumn, will remain so dear.
